Lyon Village is known for its civic activism as several elected county officials come from this little village. Additionally, because of the active residents here and the Lyon Village Community House, neighbors enjoy getting together for several annual neighborhood events such as the December Holiday Party, Easter Egg Hunt, Spaghetti Dinner and everyone’s favorite, the 4th of July Parade through town.
Shopping in Lyon Village is done at the Lyon Village Shopping Center. It lies in the center of the village. Many residents from all over Arlington head to Lyon Village Shopping Center for lunch or dinner at The Italian Store.
